What I've been working on....

My son is 3 and I still have had him in a crib. I think I've been in denial that he's growing up:( He started complaining that he was too big for his crib and he doesn't want to sleep there anymore, poor guy! I decided to move my daughter's bed into Eli's room since it is a unisex bed. I wanted to get her a fun, girly bed. I dreamt of finding an antique bed and transforming it with paint.

I did just that. With the help from my FB and insta friends, coral was the winning color. I am really happy with the paint color and think it will work perfectly with the blue walls. I am still working on some finishing touches and her room will be done soon. I can't wait to share all the details with you!

Next, I have been working on Eli's big boy room. I love the way it is coming together and will also be sharing the photo's and details of his new room, I'm just about done and think it turned out great!

For now, kid's rooms are my new favorite to design. I had so much fun doing these two rooms, I want to do more! If your child's room needs a makeover, send me an email stacichavez@ymail.com for details! If you want to follow me on my design adventures, follow me on instagram here.

have loved your sneak peeks on instagram! Love that bed and the coral color on it! I kept all my kids in cribs till they were 3 to 3 1/2! Nothing wrong with that! The minute I put them in beds I said goodbye to the naps! And we all know that isn't worth moving them!!

Love the wall treatment, those hearts are so adorable and charming. I also love the coral headboard! Can't wait to see the finished room!
