My Yard Sale Artwork...

At the same yard sale that I purchased the mid-century sofa, I also found this set of artwork. I first fell in love with the frames and the gold leaf detail and then I noticed that the colors would work well in my front room. I was a little on the fence about whether or not I should buy them. I hung them up and was pretty happy with the overall look and the fact that I got the set for $20 made me even happier!

I felt like I needed something to go over my new side tables. Things weren't balancing out in my mind, I think it looks a lot better! I think I am almost officially done with this room. With that being said, is anything really done when you are a designer? As soon as you are feeling like you are "finished" with a room, you want to change things around. It's the overexposure to the design world that plants these ideas in my brain.

Next up, I really want to paint my front door. I am thinking about doing a mint green color... I will post some photos soon of what I'm thinking, I would love your input!

Oh I LOVE the new Pics. It just balances everything out perfectly!

P.S. In the new HGTV mag they had this really cool green color exterior door called "Putting Green" by Valspar. Worth checking out. :)
