Teen room mood-board...

I have been working on putting together a mood board for a teen room. My client wanted to infuse this pretty lavender color through out her room. I love how fun and whimsical girl's rooms can be. I like to design girls rooms with a look they can grow with.  I like to use more mature furnishings that can transition with them through the years.

I used two chest of drawers on both sides of the bed and also added a dresser to provide more storage to keep the room clean and clutter free. Wallpaper can be hard to commit to but I thought if we just added it to the main wall behind her bed it could really add a lot of drama and be a cool focal wall!

Also, what a difference a unique light fixture can add to a room. It can be such a cheap fix and so easily overlooked. I have found some great lighting on the local classifieds for cheap! I always forget about spray paint too. I have come across chandeliers that would look amazing but are not the right color, I need to remember that spray paint can do wonders!
