NYC adventure...

My parents, my siblings and their spouses all recently returned home from a jaunt over to the big apple. This was my first time going to the big city.  We all had so much fun together and made a lot of lifetime memories. I couldn't decide what pictures to post so I decided to post all of them :) Not really but close!

If you follow me on instagram than a lot of these pictures are repeats.  Me and my sister were trying to have a contest on who could take the coolest photos. I took this picture of my brother and his wife Tiffany the first night we arrived in Time Square.

My sister Tori and her husband Dave aka (our sponsor). They are so fun to travel with and make everything so entertaining. We went on a bike carriage tour of Central Park. Me and Dave were riding in a carriage close by Dave and Tori. We look over and Dave had asked the bike guide if he could ride the bike while the guide sat in the back next to my sister. We were taken back for a minute and couldn't figure out what was going on!

Eating at Carnegie Deli. Not recommended for my fellow vegetarians. I couldn't find much to eat. Dave on the other hand got a ginormous pastrami sandwich that was making me sick to my stomach. We had some good laughs about the size of that monsterous sandwich.

However, I did enjoy the fresh fruit carts that sold all fruit smoothies. Such a great option for an on-the-go healthy breakfast.

We did the nerdy tourist bus tour and it started to pour rain on us. Good thing the bus was equiped with these fashionable panchos.

My sister in law Tiffany..

I think I might have won for best pictures against my sister Kim. I got really creative on the bus and started taking pictures of my family through the back of my seat on the bus tour.  I got a little A.D.D about halfway throught the tour. This is my sister Lisa and her husband Doug.

Childrens 9/11 memorial wall. So sad and devastating to think about all the lives that were impacted.

We had a great idea to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and about halfway across, we got stuck in a terrential downpour. I have never seen that amount of rain in my life. We were drenched and had to get on a subway to go back to the hotel. It was so cold but so much fun!!

  My parents..

Hanging out in Central Park.

We took a olive oil cooking class at Eataly. It was really interesting to learn about the different types of olive oil and sample the oils alone and in an entree. The food was delicous!

We took a tour of the NBC stuidos and saw where Saturday Night Live, Dr. Oz, and Jimmy Fallon are  all filmed.

And lastly, were were able to see Mamma Mia. This was the first broadway I have ever been to. It was entertaining, the acting and music were both really well done!

I think we could have used a extra few days to do a little more exploring and shopping. We had so much fun and I'm so glad I finally got to experinece NYC.

Have you ever been to NYC? What is your favorite thing to do there?

How fun Stac! I love all your pictures.

I have been 4 times, and each trip was so different. I love that city! Everytime though, I come home and want to roll around in my backyard on the grass.

I love to visit, but I love the space we have here in Utah.

ps. I love your outfit on the Brooklyn Bridge!

Yes, NYC is so amazing. Although I would like to go with a New Yorker to show me all the not so touristy spots. Like all the yummy local food everyone talks about. And not have to pay ridiculously expensive cab rides everywhere. :)

PS love that last house you posted. Stunning!
